Families Flourish is proud to offer safe, healthy housing to our families. It’s a result of our strong partnership with 24 market-rate landlords across Central Ohio.
When Families Flourish helps families choose their neighborhood, we know the spaces are well taken care of and safe for children. This means less risk of injury or illness, removing not just the stress on parents that danger causes, but the untimely and unwanted hospital bills. Our OSU evaluation team tracks that data.

Health and housing are always linked. When you cannot afford a well-maintained apartment there are oftentimes less than ideal aspects when it comes to the space: jagged edges, peeling paint, unstable joints especially with children in the house this can cause problems if children wander and become injured; not to mention lead paint, mold and environmental toxins that can make kids sick.
