August 14: Columbus Navigator Concert

A fan favorite, The Navigators, are coming back to the Commons!  This group of Columbus executives and professionals will be playing high-energy rock tunes from the 1960s to today to get the whole crowd going. Bar and food trucks will be on-site. The Navigators’ charity of choice is Families Flourish. The event is 6-9 p.m. at the Columbus Commons – more details here.

Moderated by Amelia Robinson of The Columbus Dispatch, the evening will feature a discussion of Tell Her Story, Dr. Harris’ powerful account of Eleanor Bumpurs and the broader intersections of housing, race, dignity and justice.

The conversation will also highlight the work of Families Flourish and its commitment to helping families access stable housing, build economic security and create stronger futures for themselves and their children. Together, we will consider what true freedom, opportunity and wealth beyond money can mean for families and communities.
