Topic: “I won’t even be a “young professional” by the time I buy a home at this rate!”

Partners on Presentation: Families Flourish & KEMBA Financial Credit Union

Objective: Introduce CYP members and guests to Families Flourish through the lens of a hurdle many of our families – and many young professional face – in Central Ohio: affording a home. Using our patented curriculum, created in concert with OSU, we will offer tips for those trying to put themselves on a homeownership track.

May 16: CYP Nonprofit Festival

Join Families Flourish at this event and discover how you can make a meaningful impact at the Columbus Volunteer Festival, taking place on Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Land-Grant’s Gravity Experience Park.

This vibrant, open-air community celebration invites attendees of all ages to explore causes they care about, connect directly with local nonprofits, and take real steps toward getting involved — all in a fun, welcoming festival environment.

Hosted by the CYP Club, with support from Land-Grant Brewing Co., ColumbusUnderground.com, Greater Columbus Arts Council, Victoria’s Secret & Co., Grange Insurance, Huntington National Bank, Scotts Miracle-Gro, and the Better Business Bureau of Central Ohio, the Columbus Volunteer Festival is free to attend and features:

• Dozens of local nonprofits and community partners

• Interactive, on-site volunteer activities featuring local causes

• Live music, entertainment, and food trucks

• Volunteer opportunities and nonprofit board connections

• A FREE copy of the 2026 Citywide Charity Guide

May 22: Columbus Navigator Concert

A fan favorite, The Navigators, are coming back to the Commons!  This group of Columbus executives and professionals will be playing high-energy rock tunes from the 1960s to today to get the whole crowd going. Bar and food trucks will be on-site. The Navigators’ charity of choice is Families Flourish. The event is 6-9 p.m. at the Columbus Commons – more details here.
