Event Volunteer

Help us create our annual signature events, including graduation, our outcome briefings and our annual fundraiser The Power of Opportunity.

Mission: Flourish

We want to meet new volunteers, donors, coaches and landlords wherever they're ALREADY gathered! Help us create small get-togethers or fundraisers at local breweries, social clubs or other venues.

Big Brothers Big Sisters

We partner with BBBS of Central Ohio to offer transformational mentoring relationships for the youth in our program. Learn more about becoming a mentor at bbbscentralohio.org/volunteer.

House Party Host

Gather 5-50 of your friends and let us introduce ourselves.

Introduce Us to Your Club

Extend an invitation to your rotary, book club, faith community or other group.

Administrative Tasks

Occasional help with a mailing, spreadsheets, data cleanup or research.

Child Engagement / Care

Provide child care, play with kids, plan activities to engage kids to provide some time for adults to spend time together

New Group Basket Creator

Create or work with Families Flourish to make welcome baskets for new groups of families (possibly collecting donated items, or taking time to put together the baskets themselves)

Birthday Volunteers

Send out a happy birthday note when it is an adult participant or child's birthday

Care Baskets / Kits Creator

Put together a care kit/basket and drop off to a Families Flourish families is struggling with a death in the family. 

Specialty Coach

Do you specialize in something or know really well how to navigate some system? Healthcare, education, taxation, etc. Connect with a family that you might be able to help with your special field/knowledge.

Welcome Family / Team

Are you a family or  a group of people who would like to welcome new families to your area? Maybe your religious group, family, club, etc would like to welcome a family and get to know them. Ex: a family in Hilliard, could sign up to get to know one of our families and invite them to Hilliard events.  This helps to connect people already integrated into the community with our families and help root them into the community. 

Partnership Coordinator

Volunteer would talk to local businesses about getting coupons/deals/percentage off for our families. Ex: 25% off haircut at XYZ Salon for participating families.

Pregnant Mom Partner

Volunteer might provide a variety of support to a pregnant mother. Possibilities: meals after baby comes, helping find supplies, etc.

Technology Aid

Help a family one-on-one with growing in technological knowledge (basic Microsoft skills, email, printer, etc.)

Photographer

Take photos at one of our events.

Meal Train

Bring meals to a family in need (new baby, bereavement, etc.)
